We can also look to operate our junior saving account through schools or youth clubs. Payroll saving
Saving and repaying loans regularly through
your payroll is the convenient and simple way to enjoy membership of your credit
union.
By creating a working relationship with local businesses we contribute to the
feeling of community and believe that Payroll schemes help this relationship to
grow. We have many payroll schemes set up with both large and small local
businesses, and also welcome the opportunity to develop our relationship with
employers in our community through sponsorship, volunteering support,
advertising and promotion.
Some of the local organisations who already have a well established relationship
with CNCU include:
Safeguard Systems (Europe) Ltd
Mid-Cheshire Hospital NHS Trust
Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council
Wulvern Housing
Plus Dane Group
As we extend into the two new authorities we hope that many more local
businesses and organisations will come on board.

Only
members over 18 years old can apply for a loan. The interest rate you will pay
depends on how long you have been saving with the credit union and how much you
have in your savings account. New borrowers can borrow up to £500 and will pay
interest on the loan of 2% per month. There are other schemes for members who
have savings which can secure the loan.
Applicants must provide two forms of ID (ask at one of our offices if you’re not
sure what is acceptable). We reserve the right to carry out credit reference
checks.
To borrow from the credit union you need to fill out an application form giving
full details of your income and expenditure. We are able to help you to work out
